PR Studio macOS Coming soon

PR Studio

Every pull request needs the same things: a before/after screenshot table, images small enough to attach, and a description you didn't want to write. PR Studio does all three in one place, offline.

What it does

Four steps of pull-request busywork, done on your own Mac. There is no account to create.

Before / after screenshot tables

Pick a layout, define your columns, and drop screenshots in. PR Studio compresses each one, sizes it for GitHub, and hands you a finished markdown table.

Images that actually attach

Drop any images and get them compressed to a sensible size, with ready-to-paste markdown for a comment.

Annotation built in

Arrows, boxes and blur, without leaving the app — so a reviewer's eye lands where you meant it to, and nothing private ships in a screenshot.

Recordings that fit

Import a recording, trim it, and export a video or a GIF. Pick a platform's attachment limit and PR Studio chooses the best quality that fits underneath it.

A description, not a blank box

Start from a template, paste your git output to seed it, and fill in the sections. Copy the result as markdown, or as a ready-to-run gh or glab command.

The floating shelf

Park a screenshot on a panel that stays above your other windows and follows you between Spaces, so the result is one drag away while you work in the browser.

Free and Pro

Keep unlimited compression, built-in layouts, three-row tables, annotation, agent prompts, and markdown export free forever. Upgrade only when you need more.

  • Unlimited custom templates. Your own table layouts and PR description templates, saved and reused.
  • Apple Intelligence polish. Turn rough notes into clean prose, entirely on device.
  • Video and GIF export. Trimmed clips sized to the platform you are posting to.
  • One purchase. No subscription. Lifetime Pro never expires. Launch price $19.99, then $24.99.

Requires macOS 14 or later. Apple Intelligence polish requires macOS 26 on a supported Mac.

Privacy, briefly

No account, no upload, no telemetry backend. Your screenshots, recordings, drafts and templates stay in the app's own storage on your Mac, and the Apple Intelligence polish runs on device — nothing is sent anywhere to produce it.

The app talks to a server of mine in exactly one case: when you fill in the feedback form and press send. Nothing else in PR Studio makes a network request of its own.

Support

Found a bug, or want a feature? Write to me — support requests go straight to the person who makes the app. You can also use the feedback form inside PR Studio.
